As part of our week of environmental awareness project last semester my students came up with this powerful image.
Some children pray this grace:
“Earth, who gives to us this food, Sun, who makes it ripe and good,
Dearest Earth, dearest Sun,
We won’t forget what you have done.”
Can we make this prayer our own? What can we do to care for our home planet?

If we explorate the other planets, there will be more soil to plant.
If there is more soil to plant, we will have more food.
If there is more food, there will not have people starving.
If there isnt people starving, the populacion will explode.
If the population explodes, there will be too much people in the world.
If there is too much people in the world, we will need to do wars to decrease that population.
If we need to do wars, the people will starve again.

If we plant some trees, we will have more birds and animals. If we have more animals, we will have more food. If we have more food, we will have more people in the world. If people dont´t cut down trees, we will have more trees, animals, food…

if we plant more and more trees there will be more food for the hungry peole and have more workers because if the people don’t eat they won’t get work this a good solution for the earth

If there is less children in world, we won`t need more food to feed everyone.If we don´t have to feed everyone, we won´t have to cut more trees .If we won´t cut down more trees, we will have more birds and animals.If we have more birds and animals we can have more life in world.

If we don’t burn the forest, birds and animals won’t die. If they don’t die, they will help more with the polinization. If they help more with it, there will grow more trees. If there are more trees, there will be more oxigen. If there is more oxigen, fewer peaple will die with lung problems… and the circle comes again..

Hello. First of all we should protect our environment. Then we must to grow more and more fruit trees that will be more food to eat. Everybody must work to get food for their children, because some people are hundry and they are suffering. So if we plant more and more trees or work on the fields we can solve our problems in the earth.

I think there are some things we can do to save the environmen. If we plant more trees, there will be more oxygen, consequently there will be less carbon in the atmosplere. If we stop polluting the rivers, theree will be more fish and algae, and water life forms in our rivers…

If we have more awareness that we have to care about our planet, maybe the environment will be safer. And if the environment be safer, our health will be too.
How can we care about the environment if we don’t care about ourselves?

I think that environment needS help , because the human is destroying it.The sollution to will get best is stop to burning the forests, don’t kill the animalls, don’t put cigar on the plants because they can die!

Nowadays, the pollution increased.But the people need to have a wareness because the problems are increased too.
For example, about the air pollution. Many cars have been many substancials chemicals in the streets. The air of the cars need to be cleaned every week. The people need to cut the trees because it is better to us.
